Job Description
AKD has a fantastic opportunity for and energetic, self-motivated candidate looking for an active hands-on role to join our team of cleaners. This position is suited to those looking for an active role, cleaning in a manufacturing environment.
This is a permanent full-time position on a day shift structure. We are currently seeking applicants for this position with the hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm, Tuesday to Friday, being 4 shifts per week or the potential for weekend work is available. However, these hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
If you are someone that has experience in cleaning and enjoys day shift hours, then this is the position for you.
This role involves cleaning production areas and removing timber and residues. These positions contribute to ensuring the site is kept at an exceptional housekeeping standard. Not only will this position provide you with a stable and full time position, but it is also a great position to keep active while enjoying the company of a great team.
The successful applicants will have:
- Absolute commitment to Health & Safety
- Bobcat, forklift and/or loader licenses are an advantage but not mandatory
- Good time management skills, being able to prioritise tasks.
- Commitment and a hard working attitude.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a group.
- Physical capability to carry out the job requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in the tasks related to the role.
