As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Collections Supervisor to lead and develop collections operations within the Australian consumer lending market.

About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced collections professional to take ownership of collections strategy, operational performance and continuous improvement within a growing international business. You will play a key role in driving recovery performance, optimising collection processes, developing high-performing teams and implementing effective, data-driven collections strategies. We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and has a strong understanding of the Australian consumer lending workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee end-to-end collections operations, including early and late-stage arrears and recoveries.
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to improve recovery rates, reduce delinquency and minimise credit losses.
- Manage collections performance through clear KPIs, reporting and portfolio analysis.
- Lead, coach and develop collections teams,



building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to optimise collections processes through automation, dialler technology and digital communication channels.
- Analyse portfolio performance, customer behaviour and collection trends to support data-driven decisions.
- Oversee customer hardship processes, repayment arrangements and escalated collections cases.
- Collaborate closely with Credit Risk, Operations, Compliance and Technology teams.
- Ensure collections activities comply with applicable Australian regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Support operational scalability, process improvements and the implementation of best practices. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in collections or recoveries management within consumer finance, unsecured lending, personal loans, short-term lending or fintech.
- Previous experience leading collections teams or managing a collections function.
- Strong understanding of the Australian consumer lending and debt recovery market.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and optimise collections strategies and improve portfolio performance.
- Experience managing key collections metrics,



including delinquency, recovery rates, roll rates and team productivity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with collections systems, diallers, CRM platforms and performance reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Australian consumer credit regulations, responsible collections practices and financial hardship requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to balance strategic leadership and operational execution.
