About The Role
Redwolf is seeking an experienced Node.js Developer who cares deeply about code quality and enjoys solving challenging technical problems. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of large-scale web and mobile products, working across a global project with a range of complex variables. You will collaborate with developers and colleagues across the product team to build reliable, maintainable and high-performing software. The ideal candidate is curious, pragmatic and motivated to keep learning. You will bring an appreciation for user experience and a belief that well-considered, efficient solutions are often the most effective. • Commercial experience developing with Node.js or a comparable server-side technology.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and experience with MVC or MVVM frameworks.
• Experience with HTML5 and front-end frameworks or libraries such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS or Ext JS.
• Practical experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SOAP services and service integrations.
• Knowledge of high-performance backend design and scalable application development.
• Experience building single-page applications.
• Understanding of systems automation and its role in effective software delivery.
• A commitment to clean, reliable and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a considered, pragmatic approach to development.
• Interest in user experience, continuous learning and cooperative ways of working.
• Open-source contributions are an advantage, though not essential.

• Design, develop, test and maintain Node.js services and applications.
• Build and support high-performance backend systems for web and mobile products.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and work with SOAP-based services where required.
