We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established facilities services organisation based in Torrensville or the surrounding Adelaide suburbs. Offering a competitive hourly rate of $35–$40 per hour + super, this is an excellent opportunity to join a large, reputable business in a varied role spanning finance administration and service operations. Starting on a four-month temporary contract, there is the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. An immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices for suppliers and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Manage accounts receivable invoicing and maintain accurate billing records.
- Liaise with clients, technicians, suppliers and subcontractors via phone and email.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating service jobs to support efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure administrative processes run smoothly.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word to support daily finance and administration tasks.
About You
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar finance administration role.
- Experience within facilities management, building services or maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Confident communicator with a qualified approach to stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Simpro experience is advantageous but not essential.
