St Andrews is seeking a reliable and hands-on General Services Officer to join our aged care team across our Ballina and Byron Bay facilities in a casual capacity . This role is responsible for cleaning and laundry duties, helping us maintain a protected, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning duties across designated areas in line with infection control and hygiene standards
- Operate commercial laundry equipment and manage resident and facility laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning residents' personal items to their rooms
- Maintain cleaning and laundry supplies and report any equipment faults
- Follow WHS procedures at all times
- Support a safe and welcoming setting for residents, staff, and visitors

About you





- Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience (aged care or commercial setting preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check (at the organisation's expense)
- Willing to undergo an Optimum Allied Health Pre-Placement Health Assessment (at the organisation's expense)
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
- Own transport required
- Multi-site flexibility required to work across all St Andrews sites, including Ballina and Byron Bay sites
- Must already hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
