About the Role
The Marketing Manager is a hands‑on role delivering TEM's marketing day to day, turning a technically complex and closely scrutinised range of products (including ACCUs, international carbon credits and biodiversity units) into clear, credible stories for corporate sustainability teams, Safeguard Mechanism facilities, government buyers and partners. As a digital specialist, you will design, build and run the digital outreach that fills our pipeline, keeps our customers coming back, and builds TEM's profile in our market.
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer, within the Commercial Team. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Our customers: repeat blue-chip corporates and small‑to‑medium enterprises (SMEs) buying across the voluntary and compliance markets.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will centre on seven themes, all in support of TEM's FY27 sales budget:
- Customer insight. Put the customer at the centre of everything we say and do. Coordinate customer feedback such as NPS surveys and win/loss input from sales, and use the insight to sharpen campaigns, content and customer journeys.
- Brand consistency. Apply TEM's brand guidelines, messaging and tone of voice consistently across campaigns, content, events and customer touchpoints. Check that every public claim is accurate and substantiated, in line with ACCC guidance on environmental claims.
- Digital outreach and demand generation. Design, implement and continuously optimise digital campaigns across LinkedIn, email, paid media and the web, using HubSpot automation, nurture and lead scoring to turn attention into qualified pipeline. Run account-based programmes for priority segments such as Safeguard facilities and new climate disclosure reporters.
- Search,
website and digital presence. Make TEM easy to find and easy to buy from. Own the website and TEM Online customer journey with a constant focus on SEO, AEO (visibility in AI-generated answers) and conversion, and build awareness of BlueHalo.
- Content and social selling. Help TEM's people build credible voices on carbon and nature markets. Run our social selling and employee advocacy programme, draft and publish thought leadership content with our subject‑matter expert s, and equip sellers with the content and insight to open and progress conversations.
- Events and industry presence. Plan and deliver TEM's presence at trade shows, conferences, industry forums, webinars and client events. Recommend events to attend, manage logistics, suppliers and speaking submissions, and run the pre‑event and follow‑up outreach that turns attendance into meetings and pipeline.
- Customer retention and advocacy. Build lifecycle marketing that keeps customers buying, covering onboarding, education, renewal and cross‑sell for both blue‑chip and SME customers, and turn satisfied customers into case studies, references and co‑hosted content.
Throughout, you will test and learn, use AI tools responsibly to move faster, manage the marketing budget and suppliers, and report on spend and ROI to the Chief Commercial Officer and the sales team.
How Success Is Measured
- Marketing‑sourced and influenced pipeline and revenue against target.
- Lead to opportunity conversion and cost per opportunity.
- Customer retention, repeat purchase and expansion revenue.
- Search, AEO, website and TEM Online conversion performance.
- Reach, engagement and meetings generated through social selling and events.
Skills and Experience

with a working understanding of AEO.
- LinkedIn and social selling. Advanced LinkedIn skills across organic, paid, Sales Navigator and employee advocacy, including helping sellers build their LinkedIn presence.
- Customer centricity. Experience in customer and lifecycle marketing, using customer feedback to improve retention and growth.
- Events. Experience planning and delivering B2B event presence, from logistics and stand set‑up to speaking submissions and follow‑up campaigns.
- Content. Excellent writing that makes technical subjects clear, plus confidence with short‑form video and generative AI.
- Commercial and organised. Commercial instincts, analytical rigour and strong project management, without leaning on agencies.
- Desirable: knowledge of carbon or environmental markets, ESG or climate disclosure (including AASB S2), and an understanding of greenwashing risk.
This Role Is Perfect for You If…
