TT DINER, located in Archerfield, is designed to replicate an authentic American diner, boasting some of the best equipment and facilities available.
We operate Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, as well as Friday evenings from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, serving quality food and providing great service to our customers.
TT DINER is a wholly owned subsidiary of TradeTools Pty Ltd and is conveniently located adjacent to the TradeTools Archerfield store.

About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Casual Front of House (FOH) Team Member / Barista to join our team at TT DINER.
The successful applicant will enjoy working with customers, take pride in their work and be confident handling both busy service periods and quieter shifts.
While the main focus of this role is front of house, coffee and customer service, you will also be required to assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as part of the day-to-day running of the diner.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, works well in a team and is happy to jump in wherever needed to keep the diner running smoothly.
We are looking for someone available to work 15+ hours per week, with flexible availability and the ability to start ASAP. There is also the opportunity for additional hours as TT DINER continues to grow and expand its trading hours.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Barista experience and confidence preparing coffee
- Experience using POS systems and handling transactions
- Food preparation experience
- Some kitchen experience
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Flexible availability
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence managing both busy and quiet shifts
- A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages
- Food preparation and assisting with kitchen prep
- Assisting with basic cooking and kitchen duties when required
- Preparing ingredients and food items ready for service
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining clean, tidy and organised dining and service areas
- Restocking supplies and preparing for service
- Assisting with cleaning and general duties during quieter periods
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Important: This is an active, hands‑on position. During quieter periods, you will be expected to take initiative with cleaning, food preparation, restocking, organising and preparing for upcoming service rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned.
