Our client is an expert law firm with offices across several states and territories. Their team includes Accredited Specialists and lawyers recognised in the market for their expertise. They are looking for a Managing Team Lead to run their Wills & Estates practice in Brisbane.

About the Position:

You will lead the Brisbane Wills & Estates team and manage a caseload of your own.

- Lead, supervise and mentor the team, and guide them on complex files
- Advise clients through stressful and life-changing matters with clear guidance
- Manage team performance, workflow and file quality




- Build client and referral relationships in Brisbane
- Work with colleagues across the firm's other offices

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

- Admitted in Queensland, with a current practising certificate
- 7+ PAE in Wills & Estates
- Experience leading or supervising lawyers, or a explicit readiness to step up
- Strong advocacy, advisory and drafting skills
- Empathy and clear communication with clients in difficult circumstances
- Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- Desirable: contested estates experience, Accredited Specialist status or a path to it
