Job Description

The Opportunity

As a Project Director, you’ll lead large & complex fit out projects from inception to handover. You’ll inspire your team, engage with clients, and drive outcomes across safety, quality, program, client experience and commercial success. Your leadership will set the tone on site and ensure every stakeholder — from clients to subcontractors — is aligned and motivated.

We are interested in speaking with applicants with experience at the Project Director level in other reputable fit out specialised businesses, as well as driven Senior Project Managers who are seeking an opportunity to progress to the next level of their careers.

Business Operations

- Overall accountability for the successful delivery of projects, including resourcing, financial, contractual and construction success measures.
- Major contribution and participation in opportunity identification, tendering and conversion of fitout and refurbishment projects.
- Review project programs, cost plans, budget, procurement strategy, construction management and design and ensure that there are adequate resources to deliver the projects.
- Proactively engage with Project Managers to ensure that the project meets agreed milestones, ensuring that issues and risks relating to project operations, people, and the client are communicated and resolved.
- Review project reports and attend monthly project review meetings, making recommendations for changes and holding people accountable for decisions made under the delegation of authority matrix.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, project managers and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Play a leading role in in ensuring client expectations are managed for projects, engaging with the client at all times.




- Share experience and knowledge with project teams to work through risks and opportunities related to program, cost, people, and safety.
