We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary with a strong background in Workers' Compensation and Work Injury Damages who is looking for a role offering greater responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real contribution to a busy legal team.

This is more than just a traditional support role. You'll become a key part of the team, providing trusted support to a Senior Partner while also playing an important role in mentoring and developing junior Legal Assistants and Paralegals.

What you'll be doing

- Working closely with a Senior Partner, providing high-level day-to-day legal and administrative support.
- Managing busy diaries, appointments, meetings and competing priorities.
- Preparing, formatting and reviewing legal correspondence, court documents and other documentation.
- Assisting with the management and progression of a varied personal injury caseload.
- Liaising with clients, medical providers, insurers and other key stakeholders.
- Monitoring important deadlines and ensuring matters run smoothly.
- Taking the lead in training, mentoring and supporting junior Legal Assistants and Paralegals.
- Helping coordinate workflows and maintain a positive, collaborative team environment.

What we're looking for





- Previous experience within a personal injury law firm is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Work Injury Damages.
- Experience supporting a Senior Lawyer or Partner.
- Confident diary management, document preparation and general litigation support skills.
- The ability and willingness to mentor, train and support junior team members.
- Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
