We are seeking a reliable and productive Apple Packer to join the team at Byrnes Hillndale Orchards. This is a part time position based in Wandin North, VIC 3139. As an Apple Packer, Thursdays and Fridays only. you will play a vital role in our packaging operations, ensuring that our fresh produce meets quality standards and is prepared for distribution to customers. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact the reputation of our orchard and the satisfaction of our clients.

What you'll be doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Carefully selecting, inspecting and grading apples according to quality standards and size specifications
- Packing apples into designated containers, crates or packaging materials to protect the produce during transport
- Ensuring all packed items are labelled correctly with variety, grade, date and destination information
- Monitoring packed products for consistency and adherence to packaging standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Stacking and organizing packed boxes for storage and dispatch
- Working as part of a team to meet daily packing targets and seasonal demands

What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- Physical fitness to perform packing tasks throughout your shift
- Attention to detail and quality awareness to ensure products meet our standards
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with colleagues




- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous packing or warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work workplace
