About the Role

Learnosphere is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable online tutors to deliver personalised learning support to students in Australia. Tutors will help students understand subject concepts, strengthen academic skills, prepare for assessments and build confidence through interactive online lessons.

This opportunity is suitable for qualified teachers, university graduates and experienced tutors who can explain concepts clearly and support students through structured online learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging one-to-one online tutoring sessions.
- Teach subjects and year levels within your area of expertise.
- Explain concepts, answer questions and help students work through practice problems.
- Prepare lesson materials, revision exercises and practice questions.
- Adapt lessons to students’ learning needs and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate lesson attendance and progress records.
- Communicate professionally with students and parents or guardians.
- Attend scheduled lessons punctually and maintain a reliable teaching schedule.

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in the relevant Australian school curriculum.
- Relevant teaching qualifications or a degree in the subject area are desirable.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.




- Excellent communication and explanation skills.
- Reliable internet connection, computer, webcam and microphone.
- Ability to conduct skilled online lessons.
- A student-focused approach and commitment to child safety.

Applicants must meet any applicable Australian child-safety and screening requirements for the role and jurisdiction, including a valid Working With Children Check where required.

Pay and Engagement

Compensation will be specified before a tutor accepts an assignment and will depend on the agreed hourly or session rate, subject and engagement arrangement.

The role is paid for teaching work performed. The number of available classes and total earnings may vary depending on student bookings and tutor availability. No minimum number of classes or guaranteed monthly income is offered unless expressly agreed in writing.

Please note whether the engagement is employment or independent contracting will be confirmed in the applicable agreement.

Work Arrangement

- Online teaching from an appropriate remote workspace.
- Flexible availability, subject to student demand and agreed lesson schedules.
- Opportunities to teach students individually.
- Lesson times arranged with consideration for Australian time zones.
