The Company
Our aim when we launched Rococo back in 2005, and to this day, has always been to provide Melburnians with simple, honest, delicious Italian food. We are passionate about all things food and wine and believe in creating an experience for all our guests. We currently have 4 venues in Melbourne. Come join bus at our beach side location in St Kilda, getting ready for a busy and fun summer ahead!
Job role
The job role will focus on the customer experience from the moment they walk in the door as the first point of contact. Duties will include:
- · Greeting and seating guests
- · Using reservation system to manage reservations and walk ins
- · Coordinating with servers and other staff
- · Creating a welcoming and positive dining experience for customers
- · Handle phone calls and enquiries
- · Taking reservation while adhering to our booking procedures
- · Take orders,
including dine in and take away orders over the phone or through online ordering platforms (Door Dash, Uber etc)
Who we are looking for:
- Previous host experience desirable (experience with Opentable or Ordermate systems an advantage)
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent people management skills are a must;
- We are looking for someone with initiative and drive;
- A professional and hands on approach with a willingness to learn and develop with our company;
