We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Bar & Restaurant Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team and knows how to deliver great customer service.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for helping run our day-to-day bar and restaurant operations, supervising a team of approximately 8–9 staff and making sure every shift runs smoothly.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing position. We're looking for someone who's just as comfortable jumping behind the bar during a busy service as they are managing the floor, supporting staff and looking after customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and motivate a team of 8–9 bar and floor staff
- Oversee daily bar and restaurant service
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and hospitality
- Manage busy service periods while keeping the team organised and efficient
- Train, support and guide staff to deliver consistent service
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
- Ensure the venue is clean, organised and operating efficiently
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling and general shift management
- Work closely with management to maintain a positive team environment
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality supervisory role
- Is confident leading a team in a busy, fast-paced venue
- Has strong bar knowledge and excellent customer service skills
- Can think on their feet and stay calm under pressure
- Is reliable, organised and takes initiative
- Has a friendly, approachable personality and a positive attitude
- Is happy to get involved and lead by example
- Holds a current Victorian RSA certificate
- Is available to work evenings and weekends
