About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and organised Freelance Research & Testing Assistant to support our team with user experience testing in Auburn.

This is a short-term freelance chance for approximately 2–3 weeks, requiring full weekday availability throughout the engagement.

You'll assist with participant testing, data collection, research documentation and the coordination of daily testing sessions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and facilitation of participant testing sessions.
- Guide participants through testing activities and capture feedback.
- Support the setup and operation of testing equipment, including VR technology.
- Record observations, data and key insights.
- Assist with daily reporting and testing coordination.




- Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure sessions run smoothly.

About You

- Experience or an interest in user research, UX testing, design research or a related field.
- Confident communicating and engaging with participants.
- Organised, adaptable and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with technology and digital tools.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous experience with participant testing or VR technology is advantageous but not essential.

Engagement Details

- Location: Auburn, Sydney – onsite
- Duration: Approximately 2–3 weeks
- Availability: Full-time, Monday to Friday, throughout the engagement
- Start: Immediate
- Contract: Freelance
