Asset Testing and Certification

Melbourne

Asset Testing and Certification (ATC) is a New Zealand Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection company that has recently established itself in Victoria. We specialize in non-destructive testing (NDT), statutory inspections, welding inspections, and equipment certification for industrial assets, helping businesses maintain compliance and operational safety.

As a new company in Victoria, we are seeking skilled and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technicians across all NDT methods to join our Industry Services team at our Melbourne branch in Victoria.

This is a full time, Monday to Friday, Melbourne-based opportunity — not a FIFO role. We're ideally looking for candidates who are ready to help establish and grow the ATC brand in Victoria and Australia. Candidates need to show experience inspecting mining, oil & gas, power generation or fabrication assets. Strong commitment to safety, high-quality reporting, client communication skills, current driver's licence, and willingness to travel both interstate and internationally.

We welcome applications from technicians qualified and experienced in all NDT methods, including but not limited to:

- Radiographic Testing (RT) – Level 2, including Victorian Radiation licensing.
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) – Level 2.
- Penetrant Testing (PT)

– Level 2.
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – Level 2.
- Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) – desirable.

Experience in any other conventional or advanced NDT methods are welcome, with multiple certifications highly regarded.

What We're Looking For

- Relevant NDT qualifications (ISO 9712 or equivalent).
- Experience in one or more of the above techniques.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work to high standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Experience interpreting technical drawings and client specifications.
- A practical understanding of international standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A self-motivated approach with strong time management skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a keen eye for detail.

As we are a start-up in Australia, so we are keen to hear from Fully Qualified NDT Technicians ready to roll up their sleeves and put their stamp on something that will help shape ATC to be successful.

Please reach out on [email protected] if you have any queries or wish to provide your CV.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to accept o/seas interest at this time.
