Our client is an allied health clinic that primarily provides assessment and intervention to clients across a range of ages. As a Speechie, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing, assessing, and providing evidence-based intervention for a variety of clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Providing education to clients and caregivers and creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of clients (infants, children, adolescents, and adults)
- Keeping detailed progress notes, writing assessment reports, funding reports, referral letters, and creating and reviewing goals based on the outcomes of assessment.
- Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals with consent.
- Participating in care-team meetings for clients as and when required.

Essential Criteria:
- Valid Australian working rights
- Current SPA registration
- Proficient skills in complex assessment and report writing
- Experience working within the NDIS system, desired
- MUST have a working with children check and NDIS worker screening check
- Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence and car owner.
