Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per annum

About the Role

Drips Pizzeria Cafe is looking for a motivated, organised and experienced Retail Manager to lead and manage our daily business operations in Cranbourne West, Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing retail operations, managing staff, controlling stock and expenditure, maintaining excellent customer service standards and implementing strategies to improve business performance. This role requires solid leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our pizzeria cafe.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organise and oversee daily retail operations to ensure efficient business performance and consistent customer service.
- Manage product offerings, stock availability, pricing and service standards in line with customer demand and business objectives.
- Develop and implement purchasing procedures, coordinate with suppliers and ensure the timely availability of ingredients, beverages, packaging and other essential supplies.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse business trends and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, control wastage and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Recruit, train, supervise and motivate employees, including managing staff rosters, work allocation and performance.
- Develop and implement promotional activities,



special offers and local marketing initiatives to attract customers and support business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, sales, expenses and other financial transactions.
- Establish and maintain high customer service standards, handle customer enquiries and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient order processing, product availability and timely customer service.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene and other applicable business regulations.
- Review existing operational procedures and introduce improvements to enhance productivity, service quality and overall business efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

- Qualifications: A minimum of a Diploma in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality Management or another closely related discipline is required. Higher relevant qualifications will also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail, hospitality or food service business management.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to supervise employees, manage daily operations and maintain a productive team environment.
- Business Management: Good understanding of inventory management, purchasing, budgeting, sales monitoring and operational cost control.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise responsibilities, solve operational problems and work effectively in a busy pizzeria cafe environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, when required.
