Are you an experienced Project Manager who can lead projects from planning through to completion while maintaining control of safety, program, budget and quality outcomes?
We are seeking a commercially minded and hands-on Project Manager to join a leading civil construction business delivering a diverse range of infrastructure, road construction, earthworks, subdivision and major civil projects across the Geelong region and wider Victoria.
The Role Reporting to Senior Management, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from commencement through to completion
- Develop and maintain project programs and schedules
- Monitor budgets, forecasts and project performance
- Coordinate labour, plant, subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage client, stakeholder and subcontractor relationships
- Identify and mitigate project risks and delays
- Maintain project documentation, reporting and compliance requirements
- Lead site teams to achieve safety, quality and commercial objectives
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Project Manager
- Experience delivering civil construction, road, earthworks or infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial and cost management skills
- Sound understanding of OH&S; requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach
