NW Technology is seeking expressions of interest from security-cleared professionals for a proposed PostgreSQL platform program with a global consulting firm supporting a National Security customer.

The opportunity covers the design, deployment and sustainment of a secure, highly available PostgreSQL database platform, using Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.

- Contract roles- TSPV Required
- Canberra onsite | Target start December 2026 / January 2027
- Platform build opportunities with potential long-term sustainment roles

Opportunities available

We are interested in professionals with PostgreSQL experience across one or more of the following areas:

Technical Business Analyst: Elicit and document business, technical and operational requirements; facilitate workshops; maintain traceability; and support transition to sustainment.

Solution Architect: Design the end-to-end PostgreSQL platform architecture, including integration, deployment, security, resilience and operational support.

Test Engineer: Plan and execute platform and database testing, covering functionality, performance, high availability, recovery and operational readiness.

DevOps Engineer: Build and support platform environments using Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform and automation.

PostgreSQL Database Administrator: Deploy,



configure and maintain PostgreSQL clusters, including high availability, backup and recovery, performance tuning, patching and upgrades.

What we are looking for

Relevant experience designing, deploying, testing, automating or supporting PostgreSQL-based platforms, together with skills applicable to your nominated role.

- Experience in secure government or mission-critical environments will be highly regarded, particularly across:
- Enterprise PostgreSQL databases and highly available clusters
- Kubernetes, containers and virtualisation
- GitOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and Terraform
- Platform security, monitoring, resilience and disaster recovery
- Technical documentation and operational handover

Clearance and location

Active TSPV clearance is required for the Test Engineer, DevOps Engineer and PostgreSQL DBA roles. TSPV is preferred for the Technical Business Analyst and Solution Architect roles, although candidates holding an active NV2 clearance may also be considered for these two positions.

All roles will be performed onsite at the client's Canberra location.
