Full-time or part-time | Nedlands, Perth WA | Commencing late November/early December

Looking for a role where you can focus on delivering great therapy, build meaningful relationships with families, and have genuine control over your workload?

We now have a full time or two part time positions available at Kat's Speech Pathology, with an established caseload, clinical autonomy and the flexibility to structure your working life around your professional and personal priorities. You'll be joining an experienced, supportive team that values clinical excellence, collaboration and a positive approach to work.

What is on offer:

- An established caseload – step into existing clients rather than having to build your caseload from scratch.
- Genuine autonomy – choose your working days, hours, and workload.
- No billable-hour targets – no KPIs or minimum daily billable hours.
- Clinical freedom – develop your own areas of interest and build specialist expertise.
- Meaningful clinical work – develop long-term relationships with children and families and see their progress over time.
- Competitive earning potential – a remuneration structure that rewards your work, with opportunities for strong earnings.
- A genuinely supportive team – work alongside experienced clinicians in a friendly, collaborative, female-led practice.
- Career development – access business guidance and opportunities to develop professionally beyond your clinical skills.

About the role

We're looking for a Speech Pathologist or potentially two Speech Pathologists to join our established private practice in Nedlands, with the opportunity for either a full-time position or two part-time positions.

The role is available from late November/early December, although we're happy to consider a slightly later start date for the right applicant.

With an established caseload available, you'll have the opportunity to step into ongoing client relationships and begin making a difference from day one, without the pressure of building your caseload through current referrals.

We work with children and adolescents aged 0–18 years with a range of speech, language and literacy difficulties. Our services include clinic-based therapy and mobile services, predominantly delivered in schools.

What makes this role different?

Clinical autonomy without unnecessary pressure

We trust our therapists to manage their own workloads and make decisions about how they work best. There are no KPIs or minimum billable-hour requirements, and you can choose your working days, hours and caseload size.

The opportunity to do rewarding clinical work

Our model allows therapists to work consistently with children and their families over time, from assessment through to discharge where appropriate. This provides the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships, implement meaningful goals and see the impact of your work.

We work with motivated families who are eager to engage in therapy and support their children's progress outside sessions.

An established caseload and a desirable catchment

Our practice has been established for 12 years and has a strong reputation in the community. We have an ongoing demand for services and an existing caseload available, so you won't need to start from scratch or spend your time trying to generate referrals. We also have strong, ongoing relationships with a number of schools in the local area, where we offer screenings and ongoing assessment and therapy services.

Flexibility that works in practice

We understand that life outside work matters. You can structure your working week around your commitments, take days off when needed and complete preparation, reports and other administrative tasks from home if you wish.

Whether you prefer a full caseload or a more moderate workload, we want you to have the autonomy to find a balance that works for you.

Opportunities to grow your career

We encourage therapists to develop their clinical interests and build expertise in areas they find rewarding. There are also opportunities to develop business knowledge, explore future career directions and access practical guidance on the business side of private practice.

For clinicians interested in building a sustainable, long-term career, we want to provide the support and flexibility to make that possible.

What is our team like?

We're a close-knit team of experienced, friendly and motivated therapists who genuinely enjoy working together.

As a female-owned practice, with several part-time mums on the team, we understand the importance of flexibility and creating a sustainable working life. We value a positive workplace culture, open communication and collaboration, while respecting each therapist's independence.

We enjoy sharing ideas, making collaborative decisions where possible and supporting one another to deliver high-quality services. We also make time for social lunches and getting to know one another outside our clinical work.

Our director is committed to supporting the team, providing guidance when needed and helping therapists develop both clinically and professionally.

Our clinic

Our clinic is located in Nedlands, in a convenient and well-established catchment area.

We moved into our new office in late 2025. The space is spacious, filled with natural light and leafy outlooks, and has been thoughtfully designed and well-resourced to support high-quality clinical work.

Free, secure undercover parking is available onsite.

About you

- Confidence managing a caseload and working independently.
- A commitment to high-quality, individualised therapy.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- An interest in contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Experience with the NDIS and Sounds-Write training would be advantageous, but are not essential.
