- Agreements and Negotiations: Assist with negotiating, drafting, reviewing and implementing co-management, heritage protection, land access and information management agreements with industry proponents.

- Compliance and Coordination: Monitor agreement obligations, milestones, reporting requirements and statutory deadlines, maintain internal registers and procedures, and identify and escalate compliance risks.

- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with PKKPAC's Stakeholder Engagement, Heritage, Environment, Rangers and GIS teams,

including supporting spatial analysis and the appropriate management of culturally sensitive information.

About you

Essential requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate respectfully and effectively with Traditional Owners and diverse stakeholders.

- A genuine interest in native title, Aboriginal heritage or land access matters.

- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, native title, Aboriginal heritage and land access processes in Western Australia.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet statutory and agreement-based deadlines.

- Strong written, verbal and cross-cultural communication skills.

- A tertiary qualification in Law, Indigenous Studies, Anthropology, Heritage, Environmental Management or a related discipline, or currently working towards one.

- A current driver's licence and willingness to undertake site travel as required.

Highly regarded: Experience in native title, heritage, legal or land access environments; working with Aboriginal organisations or communities; knowledge of mining and exploration approvals or GIS; or an Australian legal practising certificate.

Why join PKKPAC?

- Substantial professional development and opportunities to build specialist expertise.

- Career progression within a growing and evolving organisation.

- Attractive not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.

- Exposure to innovative agreements and significant native title, heritage protection and co-management matters.

- A collaborative and supportive team committed to achieving lasting outcomes for Traditional Owners.
