Tooling & Process Improvement

- Evaluate and recommend automation tools, frameworks and testing practices.

- Improve the reliability, efficiency and maintainability of automated tests.

- Support automation adoption across teams and contribute to an automation-first approach.

- Help strengthen quality assurance processes and reduce feedback cycles.

Collaboration & Support

- Work with QA analysts to ensure appropriate coverage of business requirements and critical workflows.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation coding standards.

- Document frameworks, scripts and test outcomes clearly.

- Share knowledge and provide informal guidance to junior automation engineers and testers.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

- 2–5 years’ experience in software testing,

with a focus on test automation.

- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C#.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit or TestNG.

- Experience designing and maintaining reusable automation frameworks and regression suites.

- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- An understanding of Git-based workflows, version control and code review practices.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including investigating test failures and identifying root causes.

- The ability to work independently on assigned tasks, seek support when needed and respond constructively to feedback.

- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

- Experience with automated test environment provisioning.

- Experience developing test dashboards and analysing quality metrics.
