Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Developing sourcing strategies to attract suitable candidates across technical, trade and operational disciplines.
- Searching online talent pools, professional networks and recruitment databases to identify prospective applicants.
- Assessing applications and conducting preliminary candidate interviews.
- Presenting suitable candidates to hiring managers and coordinating the next stages of the selection process.
- Maintaining candidate pipelines to support current vacancies and anticipated workforce needs.
- Consulting with stakeholders to clarify hiring requirements and recruitment timelines.
- Managing interview arrangements, applicant records and recruitment system updates.
- Ensuring candidates receive timely communication and a positive experience.
What you'll bring
You'll be a motivated recruitment professional who enjoys working at pace, building relationships and balancing multiple hiring priorities.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience in agency recruitment or an internal talent acquisition team.
- Confidence identifying, engaging and assessing candidates.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several vacancies simultaneously.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the initiative to work autonomously.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with recruitment systems, job boards and candidate management tools.
Exposure to recruitment across infrastructure, telecommunications, construction, engineering or electrical trades would be an advantage.
