About the role

The Internal Audit team within Finance & Governance provides independent and objective assurance, advice and insights to support effective governance, risk management and internal controls across AEMO.

Through a risk-based approach, the team helps strengthen organisational performance and supports the achievement of AEMO's strategic objectives.

We are seeking a motivated Internal Auditor to support the delivery of AEMO's risk-based internal audit program.

In this role, you will conduct audits, develop and execute testing strategies, prepare audit documentation, and provide insights to improve business processes and controls.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help identify emerging risks, support continuous improvement, and contribute to maintaining a robust control environment.
