Five Good Friends is looking to connect with experienced, reliable and compassionate Helpers across Brisbane West, including Inala, Kenmore, Pinjarra Hills, Brookfield, Pullenvale, Bellbowrie, Moggill and surrounding areas.

We're particularly interested in connecting with people who have hands-on experience supporting individuals with personal care, medication assistance and daily living activities.

You're in control of the services you offer, your rates and when you're available. Once you've completed the relevant application, screening and onboarding requirements, our platform can connect you with Members seeking support that aligns with your skills, services and availability.

Five Valuable Friends strives to create high-quality, long-lasting connections between Members and Helpers, with a focus on helping people feel supported, valued and in control.

About the opportunity

We're looking to connect with experienced Support Workers who can provide safe, respectful and person-centred support to Members in their own homes and communities.

Services may include:

- Personal care: Assistance with showering, dressing, grooming and daily personal care routines.
- Medication assistance: Supporting Members with medication-related tasks within your training, competency and applicable requirements.
- Domestic assistance: Cleaning, cooking, laundry and shopping.
- Driving and community access: Supporting Members to attend appointments, run errands and participate in community activities.
- Companionship: Providing social connection and supporting Members to enjoy their interests and activities.





We're particularly interested in Helpers with practical experience in personal care and medication assistance who are confident delivering quality support in line with their skills and training.

What you'll need

- Relevant qualifications or industry experience: A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or an equivalent qualification, or relevant hands-on experience in the care industry.
- An ABN: As an independent contractor, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant screening checks: An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and/or an appropriate aged-care-related National Police Check, depending on the services you intend to provide and applicable requirements.
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, where required for the services you offer.
- A smartphone to access the Five Positive Friends Helper App, Lookout.
- A commitment to providing reliable, respectful and safe support within your skills and competency.

Additional training or verification may be required depending on your qualifications, experience and the services you intend to provide.
