Company Description

Volmac Group is a Sydney-based commercial builder and licensed contractor specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Services. We’re proud of our quality work and our genuine care for clients, taking on everything from small updates to big projects, plus ongoing maintenance. At our heart, we value integrity, openness, and looking out for one another. We’re all about growing together and building real, lasting connections—with our clients and especially within our team.

Role Description

We’re looking for an Electrician to join us full-time on-site in the Greater Sydney Area—and we’d love to hear from you, whether you’ve got some solid experience under your belt or you’re a recent TAFE graduate (fresh from your Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and holding your full license) who’s keen, eager to get stuck in, and excited about building a great career.

You’ll be helping with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs—things like sorting out issues when they pop up, doing regular checks, and making sure everything’s safe and up to standard. You’ll work side-by-side with the team on different projects, and we always put safety and doing things right first.

What makes our place special is the supportive crew we’ve got—we’re like a close team that looks out for each other, helps one another learn, and celebrates when things go well. If you’re someone who shows up ready to give it a go, asks questions, and wants to improve every day, you’ll fit right in.

We reward hard work and good results through our profit-sharing program (so you share in the wins we all create together) and a straightforward KPI system that recognises effort, reliability, and quality—nothing complicated, just fair ways to see your contribution make a difference.

No matter where you’re at in your journey, if you’re passionate about the trade and looking for a place where people support you and help you grow, come join us—we’d love to welcome you to the team!

Qualifications

- Some hands-on experience (or fresh training from TAFE) with maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
- A positive understanding of basic electrical principles
- Care about getting the details right and doing quality work
- A positive attitude and willingness to solve problems as they come up
- Comfortable working on your own sometimes and teaming up with others
- Relevant qualifications and licenses required (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and current NSW electrical license)
- Any prior electrical maintenance experience is great, but we’re especially keen to hear from recently qualified electricians straight out of TAFE who are motivated and ready to learn—we’ll support you every step of the way

If this feels like the right fit and you’d like to be part of a team that treats each other like family while getting great work done, drop us your application—we’re looking forward to meeting you!
