We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to help run our bread stall at the New Farm markets.

This is a excellent opportunity for a local student looking for regular Saturday morning work in a lively, welcoming market atmosphere. You’ll spend the morning selling beautiful bread, chatting with customers and getting to know our regulars.

Full training is provided, and once you’re confident, you’ll be trusted to work mostly independently.

What you’ll be doing

- Setting up our bread display and helping pack down after the market.
- Serving customers, packing bread and handling payments.
- Keeping the stall clean, tidy and looking its best.
- Giving every customer a friendly, welcoming experience.

Who we’re looking for

- Someone with a positive attitude who enjoys talking to people.




- Comfortable serving customers and taking initiative.
- Well presented, with good personal hygiene and care when handling food.
- Happy with early starts and able to commit to regular Saturday mornings.

Above all, you must be reliable. We’re looking for someone who turns up on time, follows through and takes pride in doing a good job.

Previous customer service or market experience is a bonus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn go a long way.

Pay: $25.00 – $42.00 per hour
