Osawa Enterprises Melbourne is seeking experienced buthcer(slicing/cutting assistant position to support cutting jobs for wholesale, grocery, and online orders. This role focuses on precise Japanese/Korean style BBQ cutting(including PORK cutting as well), portion cutting, and presentation ensuring high quality and standards to look after our clients.

You will work with all other team members to ensure your skill, precision cutting skills, and speed to match our standards within your probation period.

Key responsibilities

Assist and help all basis cutting jobs with our team without delay

Prepare all onine, grocery, and wholesale orders even one day before(afternoon)

Maintain consistency in cutting thickness, size, weights, and stock roration

Clean and tidy your bench, tools, scales, and your preparation areas

Support other sections like slicing team when you have spare time to help without asking

Work efficient and manage all offcuts(to minimize it)

Work with your right mindset, attitude, teamwork(mindful mindset) to achieve our goals

Skills and Experience

Previous experience is importtant, however,



you have some skill in using knife or been a chef with confident with using it, it is all acceptable

Knife skills and understanding of basic knowledge in all different cut of meat

Robust new learning mindset, attitude, and consistency

Ability to work in a fast-paced in busy team

Pysically fit to carry and lift 25kg of boxes and stnaidn for a long hours

WE ARE CUTTING AND PROCESING ONLY BOX MEAT. WE WONT PRIORITIZE ALL CANDIDATES WITH EXPORT/DOMESTIC ABATTOIR BONING EXPERIENCES). WE NEED ALL CANDIDATES WITH SMALLER AND FINER JAPANESE/KOREAN STYLE CUTTING SKILLS NOT BONING MEAT SKILL. WE WONT REPLY THOSE BONING EXPRIENCE CANDIDATES.
