At Healthy Food Crew, no two weeks look the same. We make food for both pets and people: new products for startup health-food brands launching in Australia and overseas, plus lines you'll find on major supermarket shelves. One day you might be blending nut butters, the next you're glazing, filling or packing a brand-new product that's about to hit the market.

We're a small, hands-on crew in Epping, and we're looking for our next casual Production Team Member, with the potential to go full-time.

What you'll be doing

Making the product

- Weighing wet and dry ingredients
- Blending raw ingredients, powders and nut butters
- Running product through depositors, mixers and filling machines
- Glazing, filling and packing
- Loading and unloading ovens and cooling racks
- Helping our machine operators where needed

Packing and dispatch

- Packing finished product into bags, boxes and pouches
- Date-coding and labelling
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Loading and unloading deliveries, and stacking pallets for shipping

Keeping the place running

- Washing down equipment and cleaning workstations
- Getting things ready for the next day's production
- Keeping packing and storage areas tidy, emptying bins and restocking amenities
- Sharing the cleaning of staff areas on a rotating roster
- Joining team meetings

And yes, singing and dancing on the floor is welcome.

About you

- You enjoy working in a team and pitching in to get the job done
- You're curious, happy to learn new tasks, and comfortable suggesting ideas when problems come up
- You're comfortable standing and moving around a production floor for a full shift
- You can safely lift up to 20kg
- Food production experience is handy but not essential; we'll train you
- Allergen note: we handle tree nuts, peanuts, sesame and egg on site every day, so this role isn't suitable for anyone with an allergy to these

- Hours: Our production hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Type: Casual, with the potential to go full-time for the right person
- Pay: $33.10 per hour (casual rate)
- Location: Epping VIC 3076, on site
- Start with a paid trial: successful applicants complete a 3-day paid trial shift (days can vary)
- You'll need the right to work in Australia and good spoken English
