We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Newcastle area.
Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Working With Children Check (where required)
- Valid right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Relevant qualification in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services
- Previous disability support experience
- Manual handling and medication experience (highly regarded)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Providing medication support
- Assisting with manual handling and mobility
- Supporting household tasks
- Accompanying clients to community activities and appointments
- Delivering secure, respectful, and person-centred care
