About the role

HCM Build is a Sydney-based residential building company, led on the tools by Director Hayden McKee. We specialise in full home renovations, the kind of work where a client trusts you with their biggest asset and expects it done right the first time.

We're after a carpenter with 2 to 3 years' experience who wants to work on boutique, architecturally-driven projects. You'll be working directly alongside Hayden, not buried under three layers of site management.

What you'll be doing

- The full carpentry scope, framing through to cladding and fit-out
- Concrete and formwork
- Excavation
- Reading and working from detailed construction plans
- Kitchen, bathroom, and joinery installation on high-end residential renovations
- Working solo on smaller tasks, and as part of a tight two to three person crew on bigger ones
- Keeping the finish quality tight, our clients notice the details, so we do too

About you

- 2 to 3 years' onsite carpentry and building experience, someone who has worked for a builder,

not just carpentry on its own
- Full working rights in Australia and a current White Card. No sponsorship available
- Own tools and a reliable vehicle
- Someone who takes pride in the work, not just gets it done

What we offer

- Immediate start
- Full-time, steady work, no chasing jobs between sites
- Direct access to the business owner, no red tape
- A wide-ranging run of premium renovation projects across Sydney's Inner West and Eastern Suburbs
- Room to grow as HCM Build takes on bigger jobs

How to apply

Send through your resume and a couple of photos of recent work. If you've got a White Card, full working rights, and know your way around a full building scope, we want to hear from you.
