- Delivering safe, high-quality,



and compassionate nursing care to patients receiving cancer treatment. /n
- Working across Buderim and Noosa, supporting the nursing teams and patient needs at both locations. /n
- Completing comprehensive nursing assessments and developing and evaluating patient care plans. /n
- Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and providing education to patients and their carers. /n
- Working collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. /n
- Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in a patient’s clinical condition. /n
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. /n
- Confidently using electronic clinical and prescribing systems. /n
- Supporting the delivery of safe and effective clinical workflows. /n
- Contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives. /n
- Supporting education and professional development within the nursing team. /n
- Building positive relationships with patients, carers, colleagues and other healthcare professionals. /n
- Supporting GenesisCare initiatives that improve patient experience, quality and efficiency. /n
- Participating in rostered shifts, including occasional late shifts up to 9.00pm, as required. /n
- Demonstrating flexibility to work across both Sunshine Coast locations according to service requirements.



/n /n /n What you’ll bring /n /n
- Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA. /n
- Demonstrated clinical nursing experience. /n
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards. /n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. /n
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. /n
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. /n
- Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice, including the NSQHS. /n
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. /n
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. /n
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to the wider nursing team. /n
- Flexibility to work across Buderim and Noosa and undertake late shifts. /n /n /n Desirable /n /n
- Experience in oncology or radiation oncology nursing. /n
- Postgraduate qualifications in oncology or a related area. /n
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary cancer care environment. /n
