We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our team in a varied, hands-on role.
This position involves a combination of yard duties, container sorting, customer service and truck driving.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Sorting and counting eligible containers
- Serving customers and processing customer payments
- General yard duties and keeping work areas clean and organised
- Loading, unloading and moving bins using a forklift
- Driving an MR truck as required
- Working safely and efficiently in a busy yard setting
- Working both as part of a team and independently when required
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current MR Driver's Licence – essential
- Current Forklift Licence – essential
- Confident and experienced forklift operation skills
- Good customer service and communication skills
- A reliable and punctual attitude
- The ability to work well within a team
- The confidence to work unsupervised and use initiative
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual work
- A strong focus on workplace safety
This is a casual position of approximately 25–30 hours per week and will require availability on Weekends.
