KVS (WA) Pty Ltd T/As R&R; Fencing retails and supplies a wide range of fencing products, gates, posts, rails and accessories to homeowners, tradespeople and fencing contractors across Western Australia. We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to run our retail store and yard, manage staff and stock, and help grow sales and business profits.

Key Responsibilities

- Run daily store and yard operations, including opening, closing, security and setting priorities for the team.
- Lead, roster, train and support staff, allocate daily tasks and maintain good customer service and store presentation.
- Help customers choose suitable fencing products, prepare quotes, process sales and handle enquiries, returns and complaints.
- Review customer demand and decide which products to stock, how much stock to hold and how products should be displayed.
- Manage product pricing, sales promotions and advertising to attract customers and increase sales.
- Order fencing products and materials, deal with suppliers, negotiate prices and arrange timely deliveries.
- Coordinate container unloads, stock receiving, storage, customer collections and dispatch, checking quantities and damaged goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records, organise stocktakes and replenishment, and keep product labels and prices up to date.
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling and daily reconciliation, and support Lightspeed and Xero processes with accurate records.
- Monitor sales, stock movement,



profit margins and operating costs, prepare budgets and report business performance to the owner.
- Work with warehouse and manufacturing staff to ensure fencing panels, gates, posts and other products are ready for customer orders and delivered on time.
- Keep the shop, outdoor yard and displays clean, organised and safe, and ensure staff follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Monitor staff performance, address workplace issues and ensure employees have the training and equipment needed for their duties.
- Identify ways to improve sales, reduce stock losses, control costs and make daily operations more efficient.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

- Experience managing a retail store or a similar business operations.
- Positive knowledge of sales, stock control, purchasing and customer service.
- Experience supervising staff, organising daily work and managing rosters.
- The ability to monitor sales, costs and profit margins.
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets and business software.
- A practical approach to workplace safety and stock handling.

Experience in fencing supplies, hardware, building materials or a similar industry will be highly regarded. A qualification in retail management, business or a related field will be an advantage.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
