A busy temporary Accountant position seeking a start from 19th October 2026 until atleast end of February 2027/n Your new company /n Our community-focused Not-For-Profit client requires a temporary Accountant to start around 19th October 2026. This is a planned temporary assignment which is intended to run until the end of February 2027, with a possibility for extension until the end of March 2027. /n Your new role /n As the Accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to; /n
- Financial accounting and month-end activities including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger review and the ability to investigate and resolve accounting issues independently. /n
- Transactional accounting review particularly Accounts Payable, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. /n
- Ad hoc accounting tasks to assist the Finance Manager as required. /n
- This assignment requires someone that is happy to work 5 days (Monday to Friday) at the organisation's office, as there is no Working From Home available on this assignment. /n

What you'll need
to succeed /n




- Demonstrated experience as an Accountant with strong month-end accounting and reconciliation skills. /n
- Full commitment to the temporary duration /n
- Robust Excel skills plus experience in using various accounting systems and confident in learning a new system and procedures /n
- Excellent communication skills with the need to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders /n
- The ability to work to and achieve strict deadlines /n
- Preference will be given to someone that holds a full accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent) /n What you'll get in return /n
