WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

We are seeking motivated doctors to join the Southern Fleurieu Health Service Emergency Department on full-time or part time, temporary 3-year contracts. Based on your experience and qualifications, positions are available as Medical Practitioner (MDP2): Suitable for registered doctors looking to deliver hands‑on acute care within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

You will focus on providing high-quality, patient-centred emergency management while undertaking ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

- Manage patient care in the Emergency Department collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health staff.
- Provide after‑hours code blue support to the inpatient medical unit.
- Participate actively in a 24/7 roster, continuing education, and quality improvement programs.
- Foster teamwork across disciplines to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and a positive workplace culture.
