Grounds Maintenance Team Leader – Sydney ARC Staff is recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in Sydney for one of our major clients. You’ll lead a mobile crew across commercial and open-space contracts.

Location: Inner West Sydney Pay: $33.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on experience Company vehicle provided for the right candidate Company phone provided for the right candidate

About the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader Role This is a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll lead from the front while supervising a small mobile grounds maintenance crew.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and supervising a mobile crew Planning daily works and allocating tasks Making sure sites meet required contract standards Operating zero-turn and out-front mowers Pruning, hedging,



mulching and planting Weed spraying and pest control Maintaining equipment Making sure safe work practices are followed Keeping presentation standards consistently high across sites Supporting and developing team members

What We’re Looking For Certificate III in Horticulture/Parks & Gardens OR approximately 5 years’ relevant experience Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred Current driver’s licence (essential) White Card Current Police Check, or willing to obtain one (essential) Working With Children Check highly regarded Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery Solid safety focus Reliable, with excellent communication skills Pride in your workmanship Ability to motivate and lead a team
