Service Person / Driver

to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with machinery, is mechanically minded and takes pride in keeping equipment clean, maintained and ready for customers. The Role The role will involve a combination of equipment servicing, yard duties, deliveries and collections. No two days are necessarily the same. Typical duties include: Delivering and collecting construction equipment from customers

Loading and unloading equipment safely

Cleaning and preparing machinery for hire

Basic servicing, maintenance and repairs

Checking equipment before and after hire

Refuelling and general yard duties

Assisting customers with equipment when required

Keeping the yard, workshop and equipment organised





Completing delivery and collection paperwork

Representing Black Ram Equipment Hire in a professional and friendly manner

About You We are looking for someone who: Has a strong work ethic and reliable attitude

Is mechanically minded and enjoys working with machinery

Has good attention to detail

Can work independently and as part of a small team

Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

Has valuable communication and customer service skills

Has a current driver's licence

Is comfortable driving larger vehicles and towing trailers

Has construction, machinery, equipment hire or mechanical experience

(preferred but not essential)

A

LR, MR or HR licence and/or forklift licence

would be an advantage, but training may be available for the right person. What We Offer Casual position – approximately 20–40 hours per week

Monday to Saturday work

Penalty rates paid where applicable

Variety of work in a hands-on environment
