Yallambee has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic

Physiotherapy Assistant

to join our residential aged care team.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to work alongside out onsite Physiotherapist and broader multidisciplinary team (including clinical and lifestyle staff), supporting residents to achieve their mobility, rehabilitation and wellbeing goals.

As a

Physio Assistant/Allied Health Assistant , you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of physiotherapy and exercise programs under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physiotherapist. You will work closely with residents to encourage movement, maintain physical function and support their individual goals. Your caring and empathetic nature will be crucial in building rapport with consumers, fostering trust, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

The successful applicant will be part of a energetic, committed and caring multidisciplinary team who understand each resident's individual needs, goals and preferences and work together to optimise their health, wellbeing and independence.

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the direction of the Physiotherapist and Executive Clinical Operations Manager and within their scope of practice, supporting residents with prescribed exercise, mobility and rehabilitation programs.
