Transport Administration Officer ) Netley, Adelaide, Australia Salary: AUD40 - AUD41 per hour

$40.00 per hour inclusive of casual loading

Full time hours Monday to Friday8.00am-4.30pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to support the daily operational needs of a largetransport company in Adelaide.

The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and a working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of data entry techniques anddemonstrate a high level of organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for any administration skilled to develop skills in a supportive and proactive environment.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

Collecting information from customers and clients





Entering data into the central database

Cataloguing the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference

Pallet management and co-ordination

Monitory inventory and reducing costs effiectively

Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary

Generating periodic reports

Evaluating and approving Purchase Orders (PO)s

Provide general administrative support to the transport team

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

Ability to effectively apply data entry practices and procedures

Strong knowledge of MS Office programs

High level organisation and time managementskills

Be a proactive team member with a dynamic and committed work ethic
