Reporting to the Executive Director, Funding, Data and System Performance, you will lead the delivery of statewide performance reporting, analytics and business intelligence that informs executive decision-making, supports health system accountability and drives improved outcomes for Queenslander.
The role
In this senior executive role, you will:
- Lead the System Performance Branch and provide strategic oversight of statewide performance monitoring, reporting and analysis.
- Deliver trusted performance information and insights to support system management, service improvement and health system sustainability.
- Provide high-level advice to the Minister, Director-General and senior executives on system performance, emerging risks and future trends.
- Influence state and national health reform through leadership of performance management, reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships across Queensland Health, government and the broader health sector to achieve system-wide outcomes.
The successful person
You are an influential and strategic executive with a strong track record of leading performance, analytics or intelligence functions within a large and complex organisation.
You will bring:
- Extensive experience delivering strategic performance and intelligence functions that support executive decision-making.
- Proven ability to influence policy, reform and organisational outcomes in complex stakeholder environments.
- Robust understanding of performance management, accountability and public sector governance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- A demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
