About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically minded Internal Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands‑on experience in a mechanical field and is looking to transition into an office‑based career. It would suit:

- A tradesperson looking to move off the tools
- Someone with mechanical industry work experience
- A recent mechanical engineering graduate looking to start their career

You’ll provide technical product information, process orders, and support customers and internal teams with your practical understanding of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide customers with accurate technical information, pricing, and product recommendations
- Prepare and process quotes, sales orders, and related documentation
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and provide timely updates
- Work closely with operations and warehouse teams for order fulfilment
- Maintain CRM records and customer communication logs
- Conduct basic technical troubleshooting or escalate complex issues
- Support external sales with product knowledge, customer insights, and documentation
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling, and improved customer service

Skills & Attributes

- Solid technical understanding from mechanical trade or industry experience




- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, confident phone manner
- Solid computer literacy, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret technical information, product specs, or mechanical drawings (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries in a fast‑paced environment
- Problem‑solving mindset with willingness to learn product ranges

Qualifications & Experience

Required :

- Hands‑on experience in a mechanical or technical trade OR :

- Work experience in a mechanical/industrial environment OR :

- A degree (or partial degree) in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred but not essential :

- Experience in internal sales, customer service, or order processing
- Understanding of mechanical components or industrial equipment
- SAP Experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
