Talent Focus are recruiting on behalf of a secondary campus in the Warragul area for a Hard Materials Teacher to commence in Semester 2.
The successful applicant will deliver a fully implemented curriculum across a range of year levels, including:
- Year 7-8 : Hard Tools and Woodwork
- Year 9 : Wood and Metal
- Year 11-12 : Advanced Product Design and Technology, including use of tools, resin, and plastics
This role does not include a VET component.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher with strong practical knowledge of hard materials, who can deliver engaging and hands-on learning experiences. The ability to manage a full teaching load, support student learning, and work collaboratively within a team is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons across Years 7-12
- Maintain a safe and productive workshop environment
- Support student development through practical, project-based learning
- Work collaboratively with staff to support curriculum delivery
Key Requirements :
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility)
- Robust knowledge and experience in Hard Materials / PD&T;
- Ability to teach across a range of year levels
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
