Victoria Legal Aid are seeking an experienced Data Visualisation Developer to join a high performing Data Reporting team.

- Full time fixed term position up to 12 months :

- Salary range: $113,668 - $131,153 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging :

- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid work arrangements

About the role

- Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) are seeking an experienced Data Visualisation Developer to join a high performing Data Reporting team. This role is responsible for developing data reports and ensuring the data insights are communicated effectively across the organisation.
- In addition, this role is also responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests, working with stakeholders to understand their requirements, as well as monitoring the use and effectiveness of our data visualisation products by collecting feedback and implementing necessary adjustments.
- This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country._

About you

- Strong understanding of data visualisation design principles, including best practices for visual clarity, effective storytelling, and user experience (mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with stakeholders with unclear or evolving requirements.
- Tertiary qualification in in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Accounting or a related field (or equivalent professional experience in a similar role).
- Formal Certifications in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik (highly regarded).
