Field Service Technician - Medical Equipment

Electrical qualification - Restricted or Full Electrical Licence Required

The Role : We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join the service team and provide technical support across a range of medical equipment and healthcare systems throughout Australia.

This is a customer-facing role suited to a technically skilled individual who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and building strong relationships with healthcare customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform equipment installations, preventative maintenance, validations, servicing, and repairs of medical equipment and related systems.
- Deliver user training, technical training, and product demonstrations to healthcare teams.
- Support troubleshooting activities and provide effective solutions to customer issues.
- Assist with equipment documentation, service records, and reporting requirements.
- Manage and maintain service documentation, equipment records, and spare parts tracking.
- Identify customer training requirements and provide recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of customer support and after-sales service.
- Assist with product issue reporting and follow internal quality procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of service processes and technical documentation.

Skills Required :

- Trade Certificate,



Technical Certificate or Diploma with robust hands on technical service experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, modifying, or refurbishing technical equipment and systems.
- Electrical qualification (Restricted or Full Electrical Licence preferred).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within Queensland, Northern NSW, and the Northern Territory.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours when required.

Preferred :

- Experience with medical equipment, sterilisation equipment, or healthcare technology.
- Experience with surgical equipment, integration systems, or similar technical environments.
