Australian Char in Morwell is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter & Turner for temporary work until the first week of December (with potential to extend).
On-call and overtime opportunities available
General maintenance, preventative servicing, troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing equipment (packing machines, conveyors, sensors, pneumatics/hydraulics)
Fitting, turning, minor fabrication and welding
Requirements
- Valuable communication
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter & Turner (or equivalent)
- 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing or similar environments
- Strong fault-finding and hands-on skills
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Commitment to WHSE standards
Highly Desirable
- Welding
- Confined Space, Forklift, HR Licence or other tickets
