Excellent opportunities exist for agile and enthusiastic Anaesthetic Nurses to join a team of passionate professionals on a part-time basis at a private hospital in Brisbane.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will work as an integral member of our team and ensure safe surgical outcomes are achieved, in line with the core values and strategic direction of the hospital.

Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

- Providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia;
- Responding to unexpected outcomes and using problem-solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative Department;
- Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace, including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.

REQUIREMENTS

- Current AHPRA registration;
- A minimum of 1 year of acute hospital experience;
- Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or similar) qualification as an Anaesthetic Technician or Nurse;
- Any post-graduate perioperative qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Full working rights;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

RENUMERATION





On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $44.23 - 57.03 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
