The position is offered as a 12-month replacement contract working 0.4FTE.

Key Responsibilities
As a Teacher at St Joseph’s Parish School, Gladstone, you will:
• Be an energetic, positive, dynamic educator who is committed to engaging in professional dialogue and working collaboratively within a versatile learning environment.
• Design, plan and deliver high-quality teaching that aligns with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Apply curriculum knowledge and teaching methods which facilitate successful learning.
• Design differentiated and inclusive learning programs where data informs practice in your teaching.
• Tailor your teaching approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of your students.
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student growth.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.




• Have an excellent understanding and use of Restorative Practices, Trauma-aware practices and effective strategies to assist students to self-regulate and develop skills of personal responsibility and positive well-being. About You:
• Current Teacher Registration in South Australia
• A professional, efficient, qualified educator, with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• High level interpersonal skills and the ability to be a positive role model and professional representative for the school.
• An energetic, positive, and dynamic demeanour who is committed to working collaboratively in our school.
• Ability to establish highly engaging learning environments in and out of the classroom.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes. The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RRHAN.
