Strathfield South, Sydney NSW | 3 month contract | Electronics / Retail We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established Australian-owned consumer electronics and retail business on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential for a full-time opportunity following the contract. This is a hands-on role suited to a finance qualified with strong accounting experience and Pronto ERP knowledge who can hit the ground running and support the finance team through a period of system integration. Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
- Follow up and process supplier claims.
- Manage new vendor account approvals and ongoing maintenance.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate stock variances.
- Investigate purchasing price variances and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate sales refunds and process payments.
- Complete cash sales reconciliations.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations.




- Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
- Assist with the integration and reconciliation of financial data across systems. Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant.
- Pronto experience is essential.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
- CA/CPA qualification is advantageous.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Experience with an ERP system, with Pronto highly desirable.
- Experience using Xero, XPM and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and SUMIF.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
